Often overlooked (even by fans of the series) because it's a RTS instead of a FPS, Halo Wars may surprise many of you if you go back and run through it. Arguably the best story in the franchise history, Halo Wars will give you the same rush that the finale in Halo 3 did.

Halo Wars brings players back to the early years of the conflict and throws them into the frying pan with the rest of civilization. Though the explosive conclusion in Halo 3 with the Master Chief is exciting and fulfilling, this is by far one of the greatest struggles ever expressed in a video game.
