Horror games can be incredibly fun to play, putting you in the driver's seat of staying alive and getting your heart pounding. But what about those that are scared of horror games; when they're fascinated by the story, but can't stand to play the game, what do they do?

It's strange because I really have a love-hate relationship with scary video games. I love reading about them, about the plotlines and the strange freaky twists, but I absolutely, positively cannot play a scary game. Believe me, I've tried. It just doesn't work.

While Bioshock didn't scare me in the slightest, I can sympathize with this guy in that when I do find a game the genuinely scares me (I am looking at you Silent Hill) I just watch a Let's Play of it instead because I can't stand playing it myself.

I'm not usually a scaredy cat and more so than not im the one bold enough to turn the lights off and lock the doors while playing Silent Hill Homecoming at 3 o'clock in the morning.

BUT, Dead Space on impossible mode I would never dare.

Bioshock didn't scare me either tbh, I very much love/enjoy those games. (I <3 Rapture)

Honorable mention for Resistance 2 when climbing through the wreckage of chicago in the darkness + with chameleons lurking randomly. (Chameleons scare the shit out of me.)

I found the radio program in Resistance 2 to be eerie and kinda creepy. Especially how it ended.....
