With a possible release date for the Nintendo 3DS "accidentally" tweeted on the social blogging site Twitter, nintendo3dsblog.com give an 'educational' inlook as to why this may be no mere rumor. After all, it is Nintendo.

1. Nintendo aren’t immune to leaks. For a gaming company Nintendo is very good at keeping their projects under-wraps, but it’s still run by humans (as far as we know), and humans make mistakes. Just a few months ago a Chinese blogger leaked details that all came true. 3DSWare hasn’t been a secret at all. Heck, even the 3DS itself was announced early in anticipation of leaks. Don’t place Nintendo’s secrecy on too high of a pedestal. They’re good, but not perfect.

I agree with the reasons and it does make sense that it could have a November 20th release date. Just one thing that I would find stupid with them releasing it in November is all of the new games they announced to come out this holiday season.

If they release the 3DS then people will be spending money on the 3DS and games for it. They won't want to get the other games like Donkey Kong Returns, Kirby Epic Yarn, Goldeneye, etc. It will cost to much money for them to do that.

While it would mean good sales for the 3DS. It would mean bad sales for all of those games they announced at E3.

Springtime of 2011 will be a better release idea since all those games that were mentioned at E3 will get overlooked for it so just wait a while before the those games on the WII settle down and start hyping it in 2011.

Yeah, this will be better for EU/NA but Nov 20 is bang on for Japan.

It will mess up sales for those games in Japan unfortunately.
