As consistent as the flow of complaints which followed Double Dash's release, I thought the tag team gimmick was quite clever and certainly reeled me in at the very first TV spot.

I was also lucky enough to stumble upon a Mario Kart GP Arcade machine two summers ago in Florida and even though the unquestioned Namco guest appearances by PacMan and Co., the principle alone was enough entertainment for me.

Personally, I love Double Dash!! It's a shame it came under so much scrutiny.

I could never understand why everybody hated Double Dash!!. It's possibly my favorite of the series.

I've heard several stories from people who dislike Double Dash. Some people think the special items "broke" the game, or messed with the controls too much. I personally don't give a crap and just love it because it's fun.
