Guilty Pleasure Games

Game Podunker, the Liztress, details first impressions of owning and playing with Sony's EyePet and how it incorporates the use of Playstation Move to offer game-play most fitting for kids.
Well, I recently was able to give EyePet a try and I must say that for the most part, I am impressed by it. There are a few quirks that bug me. The main one being the grainy quality of the camera. I did not expect it to be crisp given how long the camera has been around. But it would have been nice to look a little clearer. The gameplay was easy for my boys to get the hang of with a few exceptions. Feeding the pet can be tricky as there are two ways to do so: tossing them to the pet and pouring them into the food bowl. The food bowl option is easy as it only requires moving the "cookie holder" under the jar while pushing a small lever to release the cookies. Then you take the holder and tilt it until the cookies land into the food bowl. Tossing the cookies takes a different approach as you have to move the controller at a upward angle to send them flying. Your pet, which reminds me of a tiny monkey, will jump to catch one but will likely either miss or not jump at all.
