Allison Boyer has done something that I do not agree with (as I take the Adam Carolla stance on books, reading is the devil). However she is pushing forward this idea for gamers who read, whomever you are ;)

I have reached a new level of uncool nerd are Binge Gamer; I’m now going to run a monthly book club for readers. Don’t worry – I promise the picks will be cool. Well, as cool as possible. This is book club after all.

On the 15th of every month, I’ll talk a little about the book, and then everyone else can chime in through the comments. I’ll also announce the next book we’ll be reading, and you can get involved picking a future book by voting in our poll.

The first month’s book? It’s one of my favorites of all time, and if you haven’t read it yet, now’s your chance: World War Z.
