Game Podunker DeanOMiite writes an opinion piece toward his thoughts on how video games graphics have evolved and points out Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed to support his thoughts.

There have been large innovations like the the ability to play games online with people from every corner of the earth. There have been small innovations like the pause button, which I believe was introduced with the Atari 5200 (meaning that it’s predecessor, the legendary Atari 2600, had no way of pausing the game if you had to answer the phone or use the bathroom). But when you take any aspect of video games in general, I’m not sure that anything we’ve ever seen, can match the growth and overall maturation of graphics.
