If you grew up in the eighties, it's likely that the Back to the Future franchise would have colored a lot of your childhood dreams too. Unlike what many other science fiction films, Back to the Future had a positively optimistic view of the future. It was a place with flying cars, cybernetics, large shoulderpads and brightly-colored diners.

The film trilogy was a hit. The movies eventually led to an animated series, video games, simulator rides and even a pinball machine. However, nature eventually took its course and interest in the franchise petered out. Nearly a decade and a half later, however, Telltale games announced to the world that they were licensed to develop games based on the series.
