Game Blend Thinks Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 Looks Like It Might Suck. Hard.

One of the writers from Game Blend seems to think that Marvel Vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds will suck...hard. Rich Knight doesn't hesistate to point out his reservations on why the game may feel to meet the greatness that the predecessors achieved.

The title of this article says it all, Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 looks like it might suck, hard. All of the trailers that I’ve seen so far just don’t do it for me, and if this game sucks, it’s going to be one of the biggest disappointments of my entire life.

    From what the trailers and screenshots have proven, I'm sold.

    I'll speclate functionality later since I tend not to thoroughly scrutinize on impulse.

    Welcome to the new era of fighting games (and games in general), Rich Knight. Where games are constantly being dumbed down for the sake of acquiring more casual players.

    MvC3 will be "easier" than MvC2 for sure. But I don't think it will suck. Anyways, MvC2 was shit because it was so broken, so MvC3 can't possibly be any worse.

    edit: Not accusing this guy of being a fanboy because I know nothing about him. But this guy almost sounds like the bitchy MvC2 fanboys on shoryuken.com lol.

    Perhaps MvC3 will revive MvC2 like Brawl revived Melee.

    i can see his point somewhat. from a super competitive standpoint, yeah only having 3 attack buttons might be lame. i really dont think its that bad though, some characters only have punches or kicks, and im sure main moves like tripping with down + hard kick will still be there.

    also i dont know why he's complaining about characters. they have not announced all characters yet, and there will probably be 75+ in total, so the more the better TBH. theres still plenty of room for Punisher and others he wants. maybe MODOK and the others will be actually really good, who knows?

      I'm pretty sure MvC3 is not trying to have many filler characters. Meaning it will be significantly less than MvC2. Right now there are 26 announced characters. 75+ would be a HUGE stretch lol.

        i really dont know why they would have less than what MVC2 had. and im sure theyll want to add more with DLC.
