Have you ever been killed in a Call of Duty game only to watch the kill cam and see that the other player was watching the door? It is no secret that camping is running rampant in the Call of Duty community and based on the track record of the series, Black Ops isn't going to be any different. It doesn't have to be like that, however, and here is one way camping could be quelled.
This would ultimately make the game much more fun to play for everybody because players won't be constantly worried about their stats and how "good" they look to their friends on the leaderboards.

Taking away leaderboards is unfair to non-campers who enjoy having good stats. The best way to go about it is to have a Battle Royale style option where if people stay within the same area for too long, they get insta-killed by an exploding collar. Of course making a game unplayable for campers is a stupid idea anyway since campers make up a lot of the buyers. It would be like if Gaia made a policy about having no Twilight *bleep*s; it would make the site a better place but ultimately kill their traffic.
It's nice that they removed the tac-insert though. Boosters are way more annoying than mere campers, imo.
There are just this group of people who is afraid of dying yet want to kill people for the fun of it and hit at one tiny corner. Kinda spoils the game, doesn't it
Camping's just another strategy, let me illustrate it for you. Take the colours for instance. I'll call camping red and running around blue. Removing camping would be like removing the colour red. Then everything looks tinted blue, which leads to people getting butthurt (again) by getting rushed 24/7 and saying there's too much blue.
There's two options - no colours (no strategy) or full colour (do whatever you want).
