Guilty Pleasure Games

We all love things that go pop, well, most of us do. And for many, collecting games is a passion, as well as a hobby. But sometimes, collecting all editions for one game can prove rather expensive.
Our US writer grabbed one of the Nth American Assassin's Creed Brotherhood Jack-in-Box Collectors Edition, and did an un-boxing to show what is entailed in the gear you get for your $US100.
We here in Australia are getting the Codex Edition, so that will be interesting to compare the differences. Slip over and check out the vid of the un-boxing as well.
One thing that complements my gaming hobby is my collecting obsession. For every title that I’ve ever enjoyed, I either initially purchased the Limited/Collector’s/Special Edition, or tracked one down many years later.
I value each one of these items dearly, and there’s a huge collecting aspect in owning them.
The Assassin’s Creed series has had some particularly interesting Collectors Editions, with Assassin’s Creed 2 being the culmination. I didn’t have money at the time (and still am in the process of tracking one down), and regret not purchasing it. So, with Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, I decided to buy the Limited Edition no matter what.
