Game Podunker DanCurtis writes some notable points that both argues for and against an official remake of Square-Enix's classic RPG Final Fantasy VII.
Points for a Remake: 1
On the subject of One Winged Angel, I'd also love to see my favourite Final Fantasy 7 scenes remastered with soaring orchestral versions of the original soundtrack. I'll be the first to admit I got goosebumps when One Winged Angel's superb orchestral version kicked off in Advent Children, playing as Cloud battled Sephiroth. I also loved the battle theme played on piano, and I long for the day I'm skilled enough to play it myself. I give praise to anyone who can master it, it is quite impossible. The original soundtrack, for me, is one of my all time videogame favourites. Practically every track was superb, fitting each scene like a glove, and I would simply love for each and every track of this superb collection to be remastered, orchestrated and given the treatment that it deserves. I want to hear the world map theme complete with orchestral backing as I make my way across the world map, I want to hear the emotional melody of Aerith's theme as she falls to Sephiroth. The music of Final Fantasy 7 is another reason why I give another point to voting for a remake.

Like New Super Mario Bros Wii or Sonic 4. Nostalgia is ok, but play the game you first played, not a remake.
Simple, don't let them talk.
I prefer FFVII the way I remember it, people may say the graphics are "Crappy" but for the time it came out they were fantastic, theres no point in remaking it and I hope they don't remake it.
This game, whether or not a remake will turn out bad, will still sell like mad.
