IGN ponder one of the greatest mysteries that face gamers today: Why don't we finish more video games? No matter how much money seems to be spent on a game, the price never guarentees completion. Why is that? IGN attempt to delve into the minds of gamers world wide in order to answer this question. Personally, I think it's down to the fact that games get awefully pretencious after you've poured oh-so-many hours into them. But, what do you think?

"I used to finish every game I bought, even if I didn't like it. I wanted to experience the full thing, see if it got better at the end maybe. And also, it just feels good to beat something. But that attitude has changed in the past few years. Honestly, if it isn't good after two hours, I'm ejecting it. By "not good" I generally mean boring. Like Fable III. Sorry, but that game is boring. And I don't care if it eventually gets awesome, I don't want to waste my time getting to that point.

You have to grab me, hold my interest, and do some good things early or I'm gone. There are too many other games to play to waste my time on something that bores me."

I always try to get as much as I can out of a game, or get the 60 dollar experience. But I do have atleast one game that I never completed.

There have been games that I bought but yet to complete like HL2 and D2. I guess there are always two sides to a coin

I've never completed a 360 game yet. I have to share it with my brother and he always completes them before I do, and becayse the 360 and my laptop are side by side I can see what he is doing, so I almost always end up seeing the ends to games anyway. So I get bored with them and never complete them. Except Dragon Age: Origins. <3

Some people just don't finish games often, and some do, simple as that. We all have different gaming habits.
