'A Slippery Climb' was one of the most difficult gaming experiences of my youth. Completing it was hard enough, but completing it without dieing and getting every box? That was a whole different story. Why is a level that I found so difficult, and wasted so many lives on, one of my favourite of all time? One simple reason: The sense of reward when I saw that shiny red gem was unforgettable. I had slaved away and earned my prize.
