Game Podunk blogger Monk Jammas presents his opinions on 3 movies that he feels will be blockbuster hits on Hollywood. Read on to see which games are nominated.

Let's face it; Metal Gear Solid 4 was basically a film anyway. If ever an example is needed of a game that gives more time to cut scenes then it does to gaming, MGS4 is it. Did that make it a bad game? No. And that fact in itself proves that Metal Gear Solid could be the basis for a fantastic film.

The fact that the words 'Halo' aren't mentioned at all in this article makes me a little suspicious, because lets face it, that is just a gold mine waiting to happen.

I definately agree with Uncharted and to a point Dead Space (pretty much agree with the author that if done right it could be awesome, but if it wasn't it could be horrible).

I do disagree with Metal Gear however, if I want to watch a Metal Gear movie I'll just play MGS4 again. I mean, I suppose it would be bareable as long as Hideo Kojima is NO WHERE NEAR the script writers.

If Halo were made into a movie the first thing they'd do is give Master Chief an identity.

Uncharted is basically Indiana Jones. Dead Space is just Aliens but with more gore which is okay for a game, since it's a game, but having a shit-load of action in a film doesn't make a good film... then again Hollywood and good don't really mix. MGS would probably be a box office smash though, I mean people still like Lost even after a needless amount of bollocks was thrown onto the audience and never properly explained. If they kept it to MGS1 and 1 alone, it could still rock shit out. But if it was a Hollywood made film it would suck beans regardless.
