Game Podunk blogger Gregoric writes to address a misconception in general about PC Gaming. He list out the top 5 and notes that this isn't to convert anyone to become a PC Gamer, but to help clear any misunderstandings.

Every Gamer knows that a platform succeeds and fails, rises and falls by its software line-up, more importantly it’s big ‘Killer Apps’. Xbox 360 has Halo, Forza and Gears. Playstation has Killzone, Uncharted and Gran Turismo. The Wii has Mario, Donkey Kong and Zelda. Well the PC also has its own set of Killer App titles like Starcraft, Warcraft, Total War, Guild Wars and The Witcher. There is a big difference, however, between a ‘Killer App’ on PC and a ‘Killer App’ on a console.
