The idea for this blog, as usual, came from my random thoughts after I saw that Tomb Raider is set to be revitalised for the umpteenth time, this time in the hopefully capable hands of notable developer Square Enix. It is to be a tale of Lara Croft's origins, one that is apparently to explain her very first adventure. Now, call me picky, but I'm sure this has been done before. It happened in Tomb Raider Last Revelation when Lara was younger and it also happened in Tomb Raider Chronicles and has been referenced many a time in practically every Tomb Raider game since. Its a simple narrative tool that seems to be a desperate attempt at salvaging the busty heroines' declining status.
