MW2 was loved by so many people, but a good portion of people were also disappointed by its likeness to COD4, Activision has even gone as far as to suggest that the game was a sabotage of the COD franchise. Now with Respawn Entertainment moving forward from the shadow of this quasi-accomplishment, what will this reputation do to the future of the company run by the creators of COD?

    Basically, if Activision says or does something, best bet is to go the opposite way with your opinion.

    I only ever played Modern Warfare 2. So I never got what all the bitching was about.

    And no, I don't think it will hurt sales. The masses forked over money for the game, and they would do so again.

      Yeah, the whole article hinges on taking Activision's claim at face value.
