11 Games That Should Be Announced In 2011

Richard Bailey from thekoalition.com, lists the top 11 games that he believes are likely to be announced 2011.

11. Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 3
10. Paper Mario 3DS
9. Halo Kinect
8. Activision/ Bungie project
7. Star Fox Wii
6. Resident Evil 6
5. Saints Row 3
4. Bayonetta 2
3. Assassins Creed 3
2. Half Life 2: Episode 3 or Left 4 Dead 3
1. GTA V

Now that the 2010 year of gaming is wrapping up successfully, I decided it was time to reflect on the onslaught of titles primed to takeoff in 2011. While several gaming lineups have already been revealed on all three platforms, you can’t help but wonder what other releases are being kept quiet until just the right time.

    Someone needs to tell the author that SR3 was announced for a 2012 release something like 6 months ago.There's even going to be a 3DS SR.

    Final Fantasy 7 Remake
    Kingdom Hearts 3

    GTA V should be announced this year, but with 2011 already becoming tight, if GTA is released this year, it will great a lot of trouble for other games... I am curious about Bungie's new project, hopefully E3 will give us some light on it.

    I really doubt they would make a Halo Kinect... I'd much rather have a sequel to Halo 3, or even a remake of Halo: CE that I've read rumors about. If any Halo game implements Kinect, its implementation wouldn't be major enough to have "Kinect" in the title. At the most, possibly some hand signals to order Marines/ODST around in some offshoot strategy-based mission.

    I'll give it a go:

    11. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 (no shit, its happening)
    10. Assassins Creed 3 (again, we know its happening)
    9. Gears of War RTS - with Kinect? (similar to Halo Wars)
    8. Borderlands 2 (loved the first one)
    7. Final Fantasy XV (not an MMO, the next single player installment)
    6. Fallout 4 (using Id Tech 5 and made by Bethesda, would be AWESOME)
    5. Final Fantasy 7 Remake (zomg zomg zomg!)
    4. Call of Duty: Future Warfare (Bungie created)
    3. Red Dead: Revolution (again, heavily rumored)
    2. Grand Theft Auto 5 (maybe a 2013 release?)
    1. Resident Evil 6 (suprised it wasn't shown at VGA's)

    I still predict no Episode 3 next year, and definately no Kingdom Hearts 3

    I literally just read somewhere that GTA V should come 2011 or 2012. Not sure where though, and Modern Warfare was already announced, they said Infinity Ward is doing it, despite their fallout with Activision. I'd say that counts. Saints Row 3 is confirmed too, they said it'd release around the time the movie is supposed to hit.

    What about Borderlands 2?

      You read my mind with Borderlands 2 lol. Its definately on the cards I'd say for a 2012 release. I mean, they could go ANYWHERE with that sequel, could be awesome.

      The first one did probably better than expected , and Gearbox are on the rise as a developer (Duke Nukem Forever anyone).

        Yeah, they have an aliens game coming out too. On their website there are 2 games listed in development that are still un-announced. One where Randy Pitchford says he's overseeing himself because of how big it is. So there should be 2 from them anytime between now and E3.
