Will you be purchasing the next Call of Duty simply because it's Call of Duty or because it's the kind of game you want to play (assuming you can play it)? The article asks if quantity over quality is worth the price.

In this day and age $60 gets you a game that may or may not even run coming out of the box and a lot of you know exactly what game I’m talking about. It makes you question, who really wants to buy the next game in the series if they seem to be getting worse for wear when it comes to functionality in the annual outings?

I probably will out of habit..

..I mean for the last 7 years every November is Call of Duty release month. I've been buying it on launch since the start so I don't think it will be easy to stop now. I wasn't going to buy Black Ops at one point, but one thing lead to another and I own that.. I think the only way I will stop buying Call of Duty games is when they stop releasing them.

I'll buy the next one since IW is doing it but the next Treyarch game? No!

Sledgehammer is doing the next CoD and it's going to be in Space. IW formed a brand new company that has nothing to do with Activision.
