With both Skyward Sword and Ocarina of Time 3DS just around the corner, 2011 is shaping up to be one hell of a year for The Legend of Zelda, and why not, seen as it is the famous franchises 25th anniversary. On top of that WWE fans will get a kick out of the puns in this piece.

Ocarina of Time, on the go, is there to remind us that Ocarina of Time is the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be (additional apologies to Bret Hart).

I wouldn't call it "The Year of Zelda" just because 1 new game and 1 remake are coming out, however, I do look forward to the 3DS OOT game.

If Skyward Sword ends up being one of the best Zelda games ever, and Ocarina of Time 3DS ends up more as a remake instead of a port, then YES this upcoming year will be the best in franchise history.

2011 is the year of the trilogy.

    Mass Effect 3
    Killzone 3
    Resistance 3

3,3,3, not to mention the plethora of great games already coming out. No game "makes" a year, not when there's so many.

But Killzone and Resistance shouldn't be mentioned in the same sentence as Mass Effect and Zelda. They're on completely different levels.
