SmackDown vs. Raw has slowly started to flounder in terms of gameplay quality. With glitches, buggy mechanics, and a gameplay engine that has gotten stale, is the series on its last legs?

It doesn't have to be.. What it does need is a solid re-boot that adds real-time physics and something a long the lines of UFC Undisputed with its TV like presentation.. Not once playing one of the Smackdown vs Raw games does it ever look or feel like the real thing.

Ever since the Smackdown franchise went multi platform and changed to Smackdown vs RAW thats when it went down hill, when there were seperate developers for the Smackdown series on the Playstation/PS2, Wrestlemania series for Nintendo consoles and RAW series on the X-Box the all had unique differences and were generally a lot better.

It's about time for a new engine and to start from scratch, theres only a certain limit you can get too before it's starts getting repetative and boring much like the Call of Duty series. Don't get me wrong Smackdown vs. RAW 2011 is one of the best WWE games since the PS2, but it deffinatly needs a fresh start.

A new start with a company that gives a dam rather then THQ keep taking out all the good feature's and such then promising things but doesn't deliver.

Smackdown Vs Raw 2011 is one of my favorite wrestling game since 2007.

THQ only care about the money now unfortunatly like a lot of game companies, there are very vew who actually put great effort in to their product, Hideo Kojima, Naughty Dog etc and I can't see either of them taking on the franchise lol.

I can only imagine what Hideo Kojima will do with it.
