Check out what GameZone wants to see in the next Grand theft Auto. Mike Rougeau discusses the rumours and how the next GTA needs to be bigger and badder, then its predecessor. For the full lowdown go to GameZone.com

If there’s one franchise that’s engendered more attention than any other, it’s Grand Theft Auto. With good reason, too - despite the controversy, or maybe thanks to it, each new title in the series has become the benchmark for open world games and video game narratives.

lol, I thought the same thing... what narratives are these guys accustomed to that they think GTA is a benchmark in that department...

Well basically this article suggested the game being set in another country (Doubt that), moral choices (Maybe) and try and include some more elements from last game (Definitely)

    That's my take on it.

Doesn't matter what they put in GTAV, if it's the same realistics slow boring gameplay outside of missions I won't play it.

I thought TBoGT was really good while doing the main game but it suffered from the same thing GTAIV did and that is lack of replayability.Simply put, I dislike GTA now because they way the games play now are just to damn boring.

So basically I am done with GTA and have moved on to Saints Row.If you told me a few years ago that I would be playing SR and not GTA, I would have thought you were bat shit crazy

I just want a port of the 5 GTA games from the PS2. Only way I'll play GTAV is if they return to what made those games fun - the ability to do what you want no matter how crazy it is. Hijack jets, steal a jet pack, take on hundreds of angry Sicilians and live, and most importantly, return the vehicle handling to how it was. Realistic was not fun at all. I have a heavy foot and having to accommodate my speed just because the brakes are more realistic (and I don't want to end up being thrown through the windshield) sucked. Bring GTA back to being fun, and I'll buy it.
