DLC received its share of praise and scorn from gamers and Game Podunk blogger, Gregoric399 writes how there is a right and wrong way for the Publishers to give gamers DLC. Read on for more....

Bethesda and Rockstar are great examples of ways in which you can extend the lifespan of a game with compelling additional single-player content. It would’ve been one thing for Rockstar to maybe give us a few extra missions for GTAIV after we had finished with its main campaign but they went the extra mile with their Lost & The Damned and Ballad of Gay Tony DLC packs. They could’ve just released a few half-arsed pieces of content for their multiplayer modes but they went the whole hog.

As long as the price is reasonable and the content isn't already on the disk then developers can put out whatever kind of DLC they want. I may not be interested in stuff like costumes or new weapons, but I can understand some are. Ripping off the customer like Capcom has really gets under my skin though.

I love DLC if it's decently priced.None of that $8 (SCIV Yoda) or $10 (Blazblue CS) a character crap.
