With all of the hype riding on Marvel vs. Capcom 3, one has to wonder if the character roster in the game is the best one the series has seen. How does it compare to those of past entries?

It’s no secret that Capcom’s Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 is going to sell a boatload of copies around the world. You’ll buy it, I’ll buy it, and just about everyone else in the world will buy it. The game is one of the most asked-for and highly anticipated sequels in gaming history, and the games’ characters should be honored to be part of a very exclusive roster. After all, these characters are the best of the best…right? Wrong! I am sad to announce that though I am excited for the game, the current roster in the series has me feeling a tad bit let down.
