GameStop has announced that they are now the proud new owners of the company called Spawn Labs as well as engaged in an agreement fulfilled by their purchase of Impulse, Inc., could this mean big things ahead for GameStop on the digital distribution front?

Jon Ireson writes: "Yesterday GameStop announced their acquisition of Spawn Labs, and their agreement to also buy the already existing digital distribution platform Impulse, and dropped a bomb on the gaming world by announcing an exclusive new service that will stream games digitally. Is this service the next OnLive, the next Xbox Live Marketplace, or much more?"
