Game Podunk blogger, DoctorStrangeLove writes a blog entry about going back to our first console. Which console was your first friend and have you forgotten about it?

I'll be the first to admit that this has happened to me on a number of occasions when it comes to one of my favourite hobbies, video games. While I've been playing games since the Commodore 64 era, the first console I ever bought was a PS2. I can't think of an era I enjoyed more than the PS2's. You'd think with that sort of adoration I would have at least been able to hold off on buying a 360 and/or PS3. If you did, you're wrong. I'm very weak willed. I wasted no time in replacing my beloved PS2 and all its offerings for a 360 and a copy of NCAA College Hoops 2k6. When I brought home the 360 I'm pretty sure my PS2 muttered "Et tu, Mr_Rogers413?" when I unhooked its component cables and plugged in the 360's.
