What do you think about Gameloft? Do you like its games, or find its practice of copying established ideas and turning them into cheaper "knock off" games a bit shady? This piece tries to narrow down the pros and cons to Gameloft.

"Gameloft is a controversial company, but a popular one with consumers, and why wouldn't it be? It has a large portfolio of games it offers at an inexpensive price, across multiple platforms.

And yet, it fails to have a single A-grade title to its name, making it an interesting and unique company amongst the major publishers."

The 3rd point in the con list is a really silly argument. If they charged the same price as other games when their budget was a fraction then their games wouldn't sell anywhere close to being viable.

Anti-competitive might have been a valid point if pricing was the only factor that mattered. I'm sure there is a portion of the market that would be swayed by price alone, but I'd also like to think a lot of gamers would weigh that up against what a game offers as well.
