    Gordon Freeman is House, therefore he can do anything he wants. This article reminds me of when someone said they couldn't understand why Red from Pokemon was silent when you encounter him at Mt. Silver, because you were no longer in control of the character. Samus lost her silent protagonist role in Other M though, which was a mistake...
