I can probably think of 12 reasons why PC gamers are starting to get annoying, and this is one of them.

The only thing I really care about is dumbed down sequels. Look at Crysis 2. That's the only thing that's really bothering me about consoles, whenever a dev decides to go multiplat they have to dumb down the game and make it appeal to the Call of Duty audience so it can sell.

Most of the list is true though, but people have to realize that consoles have brought more good than harm.

Consoles turned gaming from a stereotype of geeky basement subculture to something that is actually socially accepted. If consoles hadn't succeeded the whole industry would have probably died and there would be no gaming not even PC gaming. So PC gamers can cry and moan all they like but without the humble console gamer you would have nothing right now.

Gaming isn't really that socially accepted unless you're playing a FPS. The only socially accepted video game is Call of Duty.

If you were around 20 years ago where you were basically considered a social outcast because you were a gamer then you would understand what Daweii is saying.

no, games are socially accepted now. just because only things like COD or Halo are played by casual crowds doesnt mean games arent accepted. if you tell someone you play a really niche game that only actual gamers know of, like Nier or something, the average person would be like "alright man, thats cool", but 15-20 years ago if you did that you would get made fun of to no end.

Mostly because Nier wasn't around 20 years ago, correct?

But being a smartass aside, I don't think consoles are killing PC gaming at all. I'd put my money on piracy for hurting PC gaming more than anything.
