My hope is they take the series to Egyptian mythology and give us a new God of ______ series instead. As gory as Norse is and how primitive and interesting an Aztec game would be, Egyptian would appeal to the masses. Give us that, the rumored DLC epilogue for GOW3 and all will be right in the world.

I think Norse would have a pretty strong appeal as well. Although, Egyptian with Nile doing the soundtrack...

the other day i was thinking they should do:

God of Thunder (Norse)
God of Death (Egyptian)

something like that. maybe even do the Treyarch/IW thing and have 1 team per series, so you could have them released fairly close back to back, one after each other (GOT 1, GOD 1, GOT 2, etc).

either way i think Kratos needs to retire, if he is still alive. they need to create a new character whether they keep it with Greek mythology or go a different route next time. Kratos could be around as a friend or mentor of the main character but he should not be playable. let someone new be in the spotlight for a change. maybe Kratos could become a villain like the article was saying.

I think they should move on to a different series and leave God of War behind. It was a great series, but it's over
