Sony's Seventh Generation Playstation Pains

The Playstation 3 has run into some problems lately, but this is not the only issue they have faced. Their history has been riddled with bad decisions, and constant criticism. To see what else has happened, lets take a look at the story of the Playstation 3.

    I'll agree they have run into lots of problems, but it was to be expected. They put a bullseye on their heads with all this fancy-shmancy new hardware and extensive features. Yes, it seems like sometimes they bit off more than they could chew, but if they didn't, someone else would have, so really it was a necessary step towards progress.

    I just know the only two problems that have affected me have been the apocalyPS3 of last year and the current PSN outage. Other than that it's been a good gen for me.

      It seems as if everyone has "forgotten" about Xbox Live's outage...

        Yeah I have seen alot of people recently who don't seem to remember it at all and they even claim to have been on XBL since the start....

    Infact here is a better list that the article writer completely forgot to mention...

    2006: XBL crashes multiple times
    2007/2008: XBL down for over 2 weeks during the holidays as a result of their own stupidity, angry users paid off with a game no one wanted.
    2008: XBL hacked, some of bungies accounts stolen
    2010: XBL hacked, XBL Directors account stolen

      In 2007/2008 the Microsoft fanbase wasn't even that ticked off online though, honestly. They didn't really complain at all.

      God if 12 year olds on XBL can wait two weeks we can wait one
