    "Better"? To this day I see Fallout fans slamming Fallout 3 to the ground regardless of mainstream popularity. I'll leave you to think about that.

      Old Fallout fans. I loved Fallout 3, but I didn't think it was a good Fallout game. The best racing game in the world wouldn't be a good sequel to a FPS.

        That's my point exactly. I don't believe Resident Evil was ever upgraded with over-the-top action, linear shooting gameplay. Great game, sure but inconsistent gameplay tends to turn long time players off.

          maybe some fans, but as a long time RE fan, i actually enjoyed RE4 and 5, along with all the earlier games with zombies. i guess from the standpoint of zombies, i dont really care what you call them as long as i get to pwn lots of them.

    The game itself is near masterful, absolutely fantastic game. But as a Resident Evil game? Arguable. Quite a few fans believe that the last 'true' Resident Evil game ended with Resident Evil 3.
