A very cynical, and yet honest, analyses of the reasons why Nintendo has decided to remake Ocarina of Time with Grezzo. Is it truly to bring the classic game to new gamers, or just a marketing scheme from the corporate side of Nintendo?

"When I ask myself why Ocarina of Time has been remade, there are both the positive answers and negative ones. I wonder if the reasoning behind the remake is truly appropriate, or more sinister. It worries me, and I try to just ignore it and focus on the fact that soon we will get to play as the Hero of Time in 3D, but I can't drown out those voices. It worries me that deep down; Nintendo just can't get over Ocarina of Time. I mean, was Twilight Princess even really that different?"

Poor Nintendo. If they make new games, people wonder where classics are and beg for remakes. If they make remakes, people ask where all the new franchises are.

What people beg for remakes? Only the stupid people do. Nintendo is notorious for rehash and remake, with Super Mario Galaxy as the exception.

and yet all their fans still buy anything with the words "Zelda" or "Metroid" on them regardless.
