Game developers and publishers love to complain about lost revenue. They tell us that we are evil for selling our old games to GameStop. They tell us that we are cruel for buying used software because they don’t get a cut of the profits. How this an online-only world? Online is pretty shit compared to singleplayer, its just that its a nice addition so that you can clock up more hours for the price you pay for a game.

Online-Only as in pretty much 90% of the features of Playstation involve it being online. Downloading games, playing levels in Littlebigplanet, updates, ect.

You can update games without being signed into PSN, games still update while PSN is down as well.

All the little kids whining about online multiplayer should be enough. The 5 hour campaigns should be enough. the fact that not many people even play single player anymore, they go straight to multiplayer. Finally, the fact that everyone seems to be adding multiplayer just for the sake of having it should be enough. Yes, Majority of the gaming world is online and online-only at that.
