Square Enix recently began to announce cancellations to some of their upcoming titles. They have not yet announced which titles will be cancelled, however - even though their recent financial situation stems from a multitude of factors including the Japan disasters, this could have all been avoided if these 3 games simply made it into fan's hands sooner and gotten S.E. into more gamer's wallets.

Any reasons for someone to bring up the remake of FFVII....personally i'm glad it never came about i'm sick of remakes/releases in music, films and games

There was a time where I would have killed for a FFVII remake, but now not so much. It really would ruin it's appeal. Outdated graphics or not, FFVII is still a great game to play through.

If it ever gets remade it'll most likely end on the DS or 3DS anyway since that's where all the other ones are going/went.

Too many remakes/reboots surfacing nowadays anyway. I dread the day they try and "reboot" Legacy of Kain.

rather than a FF7 remake, id prefer they just make it into a prequel movie in the style of Advent Children. maybe around 2-2.5 hours, just hitting the most important parts of the game, not all the side quests. that way those of us whod love to see it in really good looking graphics can have that and those that want the game preserved the way it is can have that too. plus, it would really help when having a movie night with friends, watch FF7 movie followed by AC and not have your non gamer friends scratch their heads once AC is done.

Really never seen the appeal of a FFVII remake. It'll be the same content, just with better graphics and probably voice acting. Doesn't seem like something to really get excited over.
