Characters That Don't Need An HD Remake

PlayStation Network's "Welcome Back" package is a great value for users who don't own all of the offered content, however, is it possible Sony have overlooked the average user who was most severely affected by the outage? The "Hardcore" gamer?

I hate it too, it's annoying how being a hardcore gamer is just playing games online, that's just insanely casual to me.
I rarely play online so does that mean I'm not a hardcore gamer even though I have been gaming for 20 years and buy many consoles on release, get special editions of games, play almost every genre of game and buy gaming related things?
YOUR BEING GIVEN 2 FULL GAMES FOR FREE SO *bleep*ING SORRY IT'S NOTHING TO DO WITH SHOOTING GENERIC ARMY PEOPLE.
Whats the point of giving the casuals another shooter, they won't part from the cod or whatever generic shooter is the trend at the moment.
Which isn't to say they aren't ungrateful crybabies, but I'm just saying.
Simply getting PSN back is reward enough for most shooter fans. All they want is to get back on the servers and start pwning nubs again.
Plus, you can't give out millions of free copies of a brand-new headlining game. Giving something like that out for free robs the developers of the profit they need to compensate for the development costs. The games they are offering are ones that have been out for some time, and offering them for free doesn't really hurt the developer.
You people seem to be misconstruing what I'm saying (which especially *bleep*ing hilarious for you, Red, considering exactly how many people misconstrue what you say constantly); I'm not saying they should have done that and that shooter fans are owed anything, alright? People should be grateful for what they've got and frankly they paid for a PS3, they don't pay for the PSN service, so unless they have PS+ they have no right to bitch and moan about anything to do with the blackout.
But if you're trying to win back a demographic (which in this case is to say, online users) it would make sense to give away free things that they would actually appreciate, rather than stuff they won't.
Let's not repeat things we already know.
And yes, Bale, he would prefer themes or icons related to things he cares about rather than games he doesn't care about at all.
But 'herp derp you aren't 100% agreeing with us so you must be arguing against us lololol we can't see any other side than our own' well done again, Gamegrep.
And as a side note, if someone really can't summon any interest in any of the games offered, then I'm surprised they own a console. There's a game for almost every genre.
You're defending an argument I'm not attacking, and attacking an argument I'm not making. Muslims and bacon.
The only legitimate complaint I can possibly agree with is that some people already own all the games. Still, there's not much Sony could have done about that. Some people were going to own them all, now matter big the variety or quantity was.
They give away good games they are damned, they give away shitty games they are damned.
This generation has spawned some serious selfrightous spoilt brats
Oh I know, we'll just laugh in his stupid face for being so damn ungrateful!
Whhhyyyyyyyyyy
