The 2007 DS Shopping Guide

Chaos | August 07, 2007 | Blog | DS
Gamedaily.com lists the top 25 upcoming DS games that they consider to be worth buying this holiday season. The list includes The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Phoenix Wright: Trials and Tribulations, Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games, amongst many others. Which games do you think made the list?
The Nintendo DS got off to a shaky start when it launched in the US a few years back, but it has since grown into quite a capable little handheld. Numerous games have brought out the best in the system, from such intellectual delights as Brain Age and Big Brain Academy to more visceral action games like Metroid Prime Hunters and Yoshi's Island 2. It has sold millions of units to date, between the original DS model and the improved Nintendo DS Lite handheld. Now owners of both can look forward to a slew of holiday hits coming around the corner. GameDaily takes a look at twenty-five smash hits that should keep owners of the system happy through these forthcoming holidays – and maybe even through next year's, too.

The DS is seriously trying to make me burn my Debit Card this year. >.< There's around 5-7 games on there that I am going to have to buy as soon as they come out. The DS is seriously the most amazing system in the current Gen. ^^

Bleach DS should have been on that list. I've heard good things out of it from the people who have the Japanese version and you can't go wrong with the WiFi. Bleach online, oh yeah.

Also, how many Megaman games are they making for the DS????

Contra 4, The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Sonic Rush Adventure, Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword, and Worms: Open Warfare 2 I'm seriously anticipating (especially Zelda, Contra and NG). Jam Sessions and Brain Age 2, I'm considering those as well. A few other games look interesting, as well.

With 4 or 5 major Wii titles I want to buy, I guess getting a 360 will have to wait . Damn holiday seasons...

Yeah, there are some great games coming out! What with Zelda, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker and FFXII: RV(which isn't on there).

    Pretty good list anyway.

This games don't appeal to me, none of the new nintendo stuff does actually. Only some of the mario games and the multiplatformers, which are obviously on every system.
