Characters That Don't Need An HD Remake

With the marketing machine starts to slowly saturate us with Modern Warfare 3, not everyone is happy about it. The opinions seem to vary wildly. This article is one man's opinion on all of the nonsense that seems to surround this latest release
Playing through the highly acclaimed series wasn't the biggest disappointment in my years of gaming, but replicated that feeling when you come home from the supermarket and realise you've bought regular HobNobs instead of chocolate ones...and I really like HobNobs.

It seems like each new installment fixes some problems with the previous title, but somehow manages to *bleep* up things that the previous title did right. It's kind of funny in a way....a bad way.
For example, perks and attachments were unbalanced in MW2, but the game had good hit detection and host migration was generally successful. Black Ops fixed the problems with the perks and attachments (for the most part), but somehow majorly *bleep*ed up the hit detection and host migration. Don't even get me started on how, for the first few months, the game was nearly unplayable on the PS3 and PC.
MW3 will have dedicated servers, which will probably fix connection issues, but I wonder what new problems will replace the old ones?
These teams should seriously get together, communicate, go over what went wrong with previous titles, and actually try to do something about it. They might actually create a really incredible game worthy of all the hype that will inevitably surround it.
I think COD is a fun arcade shooter, but there are so many minor issues with the series that should have been gone about 3 installments ago.
I can't wait for a COD game that works properly. At it's core, I think it's great fun, but it's still extremely rough around the edges, and for a series this old, being this rough around the edges is hard to forgive.
EDIT: As a side note, I'll give the developers some credit. One great feature that Black Ops brought to the series was Theater Mode. But even with such an awesome feature, the way it was implemented felt kind of cheap. I feel it could have been much better, but maybe I'm just being too harsh.
and thats to say nothing of the gameplay which is obviously not an improvement at all over Black Ops, there may be a few new things you are able to do. still running on the same engine with little to no improvements.
just goes to show that when youre the top dog of a certain genre, all you have to do is slap the franchise name on it with the next number in order and it will automatically print money by itself.
The only thing that would have made them better is if they included Zombies. Wouldn't have even considered buying Black Ops if it didn't have Ops, because its story is dismal.
People like you will just go towards anything popular because you don't like the idea of being left out...
and if youve played BF youll see the multiplayer is tons better than COD's.
