Though the question has been asked many times the debate still rages, can video games ever really be art? let’s take a trip back to about one month ago, when something major happened in the battle to give video games the same rights that other forms of art enjoy.

Prior to May, if you Googled the words "video games" and "art," you were bound to find an article entitled “Video Games Can Never Be Art.” As a huge fan of Mr. Ebert’s writing and work as a movie critic, I read the article and found myself heartbroken as a teenager after his first break-up.
