    Disagree, Uncharted multiplayer is pretty good. I think it'd be popular if people gave it a chance, the only reason it isn't, is because it's called Uncharted, not CoD.

    And no, competitive multiplayer is not a step backwards. All it does is allow gaming to become more 'accepted', and extends the length of a game. To be honest, this wouldn't even be an article if it weren't for Call of Duty...

    I agree with redneonfish. Just because one franchise is becoming stale does not mean it is a step backward. maybe all the payment is not a good thing, but that is due to the economy, used game sales, and illegal DLing/purchasing. Online competition was a necessity and it should only be added to in the future.
