The Five Most Annoying Final Fantasy Characters Ever

With all the Final Characters out there, there are of course a few that pinch your nerves a little more than others. And then there are those that just twist your nerves. These are those five.

When a game has tons of characters in it, like Final Fantasy does, there are your stand outs; and then there are your standaways. Some characters are truly annoying, so annoying that you have to look away from their dialog boxes. Really, you shouldn't have to listen to someone nag or cry when you can't skip cut scenes.

    Really don't think Cloud should be up there, probably not Vivi either. There have been hundreds of characters over the course of the Final Fantasy series, I'm pretty sure we can do find something more annoying than "a little mopey" and "doesn't talk much".

    I like the Seymour paragraph, but cloud, Vivi, and Squall are great characters. You also have to remember that those games are old with no dialogue and a lot of corners were cut during development.

    As for Hope, agree 100%. As a long time FF fan, I found Hope extremely annoying. He was 'shy' to the person he thought killed his mom... what kind of reaction is that?

      Haha, exactly. I wouldn't have been shy.

      I do agree about Hope. It's been a while since I've played these games but still.

    Arghh Seymore. Never before has a character pissed me off as much as he did. I just read/hear his name and I fill up with rage

    Without even looking at the list I can tell it's wrong. IMO, 3 of the 5 should come from FFXIII. Followed by Irvine and Penello.

    Cloud and Vivi should not be on there.

    I agree that Irvine should definitely be on there.

    Agree with number one though. I hate Hope. >_>

    what the holy balls? worst list ever. Cloud is not annoying. he might be a bit overused and overrated but definitely not annoying.

    where the frick are Rikku, Yuffie (more annoying than Cloud anyway), Cait Sith (IMO) and especially Wakka? if you ask me they deserve to be up there way before Cloud. lol, Cloud isnt "trying to be cool" by not talking much or having spiky hair or whatever lame reasons given. he just doesnt talk much because he doesnt have a lot to say most of the time, just his personality. and maybe his hair is spiky because its how he wakes up in the morning and never bothers to comb it. he's just a shy and reserved guy, thats all.

    in terms of main characters, Tidus goes up on the annoying list waaaay before Cloud. he talked a little too much and whined as well. then theres Yuna who went from a pretty normal girl to just goofy and strange in X-2, Rikku probably rubbed off on her too much.

    also i would classify Seymour as a douche more than annoying. fits a lot better. not even a cool douche like Sephy either.

    I agree that Hope is the Annoyance winner, but not that he's necessary. In the tutorial, his presence teaches you how to use sentinels, but as soon as you can pick your own team, you never need to see him (or use sentinels) again.

    And I agree with the above, that Tidus should be before Cloud
