Banning the Xbox 360 in US?

An overview on why paying monthly fees for MMORPG games isn't necessarily a bad thing. Though it may seem like too much, a lot of people forget just how much work goes into these online games.
Time and time again I will see people become somewhat interested in an MMORPG, only for them to turn the other way once they hear of a monthly service fee. Now not all MMORPGs these days have a monthly fee. Many of them, like the highly acclaimed Maple Story and Runescape, are all free to play and download (though they do charge for in-game items). Nevertheless, people cannot seem to wrap their heads around why they should pay for a game after they have already paid for it once. At one time I thought the same way.

People can complain all they want, though. Doesn't bother me
You mean when they launch at $14.95 a month and are glitched to Tartarus? Or how about a monthly subscription plus cash shop items so you don't look like the 1001 other clones running around?
Right now, I think GamersFirst has done it right with APB: Reloaded, that game is extremely addictive and there's no monthly charge if you don't want to pay it. Too many MMOs think gamers who want to try the game will instantly want to throw a lot of money into it, and that's usually where they end up serving more fail pies than win pies.
