An article about The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask and its uniqueness, at a time when the idea of Majora's Mask for the Nintendo 3DS is picking up steam.
No matter where Majora’s Mask ranks on your list of favorite Zelda games (or even favorite games full stop), every Zelda fan has to admit that it’s a rather unique entry into the series. In fact, I’d actually have to say that the game was almost ahead of its time.

It was dark, it was pretty long if you went for the DOZENS OF SIDE QUESTS, it had fully fleshed out EVERYBODY(The Indigo-Gos, Anju, Kafei, Sakon, The Construction Chief, the Frog Orchestra, the Blacksmith, the Goron Elder, The Giant Turtle, the Pirate Captain, the Skultulla Cursed, Tingle, the Twinrova Sisters, the Monkey and Princess Deku, the Butler, his son, Skull Kid, Happy Mask Salesman, and the list goes ON).
The masks all having some kind of special ability was cool too, like the stone mask and the bomb mask.
Hell, the game had dancing REDEADS. That did some kind of russian dance!
I would kill for this remake to be made. It better have it's own Master Quest as well, the game was hard as shit with the 3 days being employed.
