A full list of all the perks and killstreaks present in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 was recently leaked online. If this list turns out to be correct, then MW3 is going to cater to campers even more than MW2 did!

Meh, I don't really mind if it is, especially since I mostly play Headquarters, a game type in which camping is pretty much the entire point.

On another note, I somewhat doubt that perk list is legit.

Campers are going to exist regardless of having features that helps them or restricts them. It's the player's style and even if they do horrible, they'll still camp. A lot of campers don't even believe they're camping, not aware that it's frowned upon in the gaming community.

1st these are fake and not true.
next the perks do help promote or demote camping. but the maps do more then the perks do. before black ops maps had a few main buildings/rooms each with 1 2 3 openings. in black ops and newer shooter games expect more openings to each place. the amount of claymores how and alike does play a big role along with killstreak rewards. so simple way of reducing camping is allow 1 claymore only, more key locations, more openings to locations, louder sounds of reloading silenced guns and equipment placement. There is also the basic thought that people camp for killstreak rewards so why not try a kill streak reward system based on there kills but not kill streak. needless to say this would make a perk cause issues.

but the games do have some role in camping.

Maybe it's because I don't play FPS games online but what's the big fricken deal about sticking around the same spot for a while? Sounds like a decent strategy to me. If I were in a real battle I probably wouldn't be running around blindly at full speed.

main reason is spawn camping. if one team all camps around the other team's spawn areas, when they spawn they wont have very long before one of the campers kills them. most games have dynamic spawn locations that spawn players away from nearby enemies but if the whole team is camping over a large area, theres sometimes not any way to get around that.
