GamePodunk editor MarshallHenderson reviews games that are made in the present time and the choices a player have now in games that they didn’t have back then. Read on for full details.

Story in games have become completely different than they once were. When you think of series like Fallout and Mass Effect, a lot more is in your hands than Pac-Man ever had in his... uh... mouth? The point is, sandboxes and choose-your-own-adventure games have, over the past half-decade or so, been expanding to the point that it almost seems like every game has some kind of story choice in it.

Lol, what a load of shit. Your choices in these games do not affect anything. The story remains largely the same, and the small changes that are made are so inconsequential, that it doesn't even matter in the grand scheme of things.

These games are just trying to recreate a Dungeons and Dragons type of game, but that amount of free is impossible (with current technology) to accurately recreate.

yeah itll be a few years until the media games are saved on and the development tools are so powerful that they can program hundreds of hours and tons of different scenarios that would truly snowball into your ability to literally make up the story as you go along, like D&D or another pen and paper RPG.

or like holodecks on Star Trek. i really want one of those.
