There are a lot of big releases left before the year's end, but a few games have already come out this Fall that you should be playing right now. On the other hand, there are a few games that we'd expected to be great but didn't quite hit the mark.

Overall this year (and most notably this season) has NOT dissapointed me at all with the games being released. Arkham City and Gears of War 3 have been added to my collection and I've played Dead Island somewhat extensively.

If Battlefield 3 is a big success as well this will have been the best year (in my eyes) in gaming in a LONG time.

Dead Island is actually one of my favcourite games of the year.I don't give a shit about the barely there story.Honestly I only care about killing zombies and exploring an island and in those respects I absolutely loved the game and to me that's about all that matters.

It seems like me wanting to finish the first playthrough on my own really paid off because the only problem I had with the game was having to quit co-op to get one of the trophies.Actually 95% of the 60-80 hours was done on my own.

I really want BAC but sadly it's one of the games I will be missing out on for a while.
