Banning the Xbox 360 in US?
22 hours 11 mins ago
The Internet has ruined the sense of discovery that used to come from buying a brand new game - the average gamer knows almost everything about any game before its release. That childhood sense of wonder and excitement no longer exists in today's modern gaming world.
That's why GameJudgment's Patrick O'Rourke has read and watched almost nothing about Skyrim.
"When Skyrim was first announced, I didn’t search for any information about the game at all. In fact, I’ve actively avoided reading anything about Bethesda’s latest epic. When I finally play Skyrim for the first time, I want the game to retain the sense of wonder and excitement that I used to experienced through video games as a child."

Unless it's Modern Warfare *trollface*
I certainly know that buying a game was not the financial commitment that it is for me now.
back in the SNES days when the average minimum wage in the US was like $3 or $4 an hour, when now its about $8, $30 would be about the same then as $60 - $70 is now.
but i could be wrong. back then i was too young to have a job and obviously didnt buy games myself, parents or whatever did. assuming its the same way with you, we just notice it now because we have to buy our own games.
As tempting as it is getting a head start on the information, I do a great job to restrain myself from doing so.
