Skylanders: What Can Other Games Learn From It?

Skylanders is a unique style of game in which players can interchange characters with collectible figures they place on a surface. Is this a concept that other games could utilize? Mike D from Yet Another Gaming Show looks at a couple other examples of games that could consider this very notion.

    I always wanted to see if Pokemon did something similar.

    But with Trading cards or something.

    Pokemon did do something similar to this, you would place a Pikachu in a game thingy and he would appear in your game. Other pokemon required other purchases.
