Up there at the top of the list of expectations, alongside ‘the game has to be good’ and ‘it must have some sort of longevity’ are a few things that I took for granted up until recently, chief among which is ‘the game must be playable for as long as I desire to play it’. Other things I took for granted are ‘I must be able to understand everything that is happening on-screen at any given moment’ and ‘when I put the game in my console, I want to play it’.
